"Sirius Sounding Board" Breaks New Ground in Creative Collaboration for Music Line-up

NEW YORK - Sirius Satellite Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI), the premier satellite radio broadcaster, has teamed up with Ghetto Youths International (GYI), led by Stephen Marley, to bring the best in reggae music to the Sirius audience. Under the agreement, Stephen and GYI join the distinguished Sirius Sounding Board, a group of music and entertainment industry legends that creatively collaborate with Sirius to ensure that Sirius brings subscribers the most entertaining programming on any radio dial.

Founded in 1992 by Marley brothers Ziggy, Stephen and Julian to help young artists get a start in the music business, GYI will bring its industry experiences and expertise to the Sirius 100 percent commercial-free music offering, providing Sirius listeners the latest and greatest in reggae music and beyond.

As part of the agreement, Steven Marley - who shares production credit on Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley's "Half Way Tree," this year's Grammy winning reggae album - will be featured daily on Sirius Reggae, channel 91, and contribute across the Sirius music line-up providing insights into his work with recording artists like Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Erika Badu, and Gangstar.

Sirius Sounding Board The Sirius Sounding Board is a constellation of contributing musicians and performers who lend their time, talent and expertise to ensure Sirius listeners receive unparalleled music selection, and unique insights and perspectives into music and musicians.
