Julian Marley And The Uprising Goes On A Cross Country U.S. Tour Featuring Brother Stephen Marley With Special Guest Up-And Coming Ghetto Youths Artist, Javaughn
Miami, FL – Following the success of his latest full-length album Awake
(Ghetto Youths Int’l) just released in April 2009, Julian “JuJu” Marley
and his band, The Uprising, hit the road for a cross-country U.S. tour
starting October 8th in Jacksonville, FL. Accompanying him on stage
will be Grammy-award winning musician, producer and brother, Stephen
Marley. Opening act will be the young up-and-coming Ghetto Youths
International reggae artist Javaughn.
Labeled as one of Julian’s
career best, Awake is his third studio release and has already topped
the number one slot for reggae downloads on iTunes. His latest single
“Violence in the Streets” featuring Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, have
quickly climbed the online viral charts with the music video already
receiving over a million hits on such popular music sites as
worldstarhiphop.com and reggaeville.com!
The Awake Tour offers highlights from his latest album as well as
classic Julian Marley hits, music that spans well over his 20-year
